PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to the LAMDA app (“LAMDA”, “the App”) and is provided by its developer (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. LAMDA is designed to respect user privacy by default.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on our legitimate interests to operate and improve the App, or based on your consent where required.

You are not required to create an account to use LAMDA. When you use the app, a unique anonymous identifier is automatically created by Firebase to enable core functionality and enforce security rules. This identifier does not contain any personal information and cannot be used to identify you.

If you enter a name (such as a first name or nickname) in the app, it is stored only on your device and not uploaded to any server or database. It is not verified or used to identify you. It is used only to personalize your experience within the app. We do not use it for tracking, advertising, or marketing purposes.

LAMDA uses third-party software development kits (SDKs), including Firebase, RevenueCat, and Lottie, to support app functionality. These SDKs may collect anonymized usage and diagnostic data to help us maintain and improve the app. This may include anonymized data such as session duration, device model, operating system, language, region, and in-app behavior. We do not collect or use this data to personally identify users. Lottie is used for animations only and does not collect any user data. Firebase Authentication is used in anonymous mode to manage user sessions and secure access to content. No emails or passwords are collected.

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymized usage data such as screen views, session duration, device type, general location, and app performance. This helps us improve the app and understand user behavior. We do not use this data to personally identify users. Data collection and processing are handled by Firebase under their own privacy policies:
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous data related to your subscription status and app activity, but it does not access personal information. For more details, visit:
https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

LAMDA does not store user data on its own servers. Data is processed and stored securely by third-party providers such as Firebase and RevenueCat, in accordance with their terms.

LAMDA is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 or the relevant age in your region. Since the name field is optional and not verified, no identifiable child data is collected. Parental consent is not required under this use.

Depending on your location, including the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to:
– Access the personal data we hold about you
– Request correction or deletion
– Object to or restrict certain types of processing
– Withdraw consent where applicable

While we do not collect directly identifiable information, you may contact us at privacy@ionhmedia.com to exercise any of these rights.

We retain user-related data only as long as necessary to provide the App’s services or until a user requests deletion.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. Updates will be posted in the app and/or on our website.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be resolved in Zurich, Switzerland under the exclusive jurisdiction of Swiss courts.

In case of any dispute related to privacy or data use, you agree to resolve the matter through binding arbitration in Zurich, Switzerland before pursuing other legal remedies.
